I became a driving instructor because I enjoy working with people and helping them achieve their goals. The way I teach is the way I learn. I always remember things better if I understand why I’m doing them and how they work. When I teach, I explain what’s happening and break down the procedure. That way, if something doesn't go as planned, you have the knowledge to fix the mistake thereby helping you become a better and more confident driver.

Never be afraid to say “I don’t understand”. When you’re learning something new it’s OK not to understand, that’s why you have a driving instructor. By asking me questions I can clarify and explain. I will also look at what you have been studying in your preparation for the theory test, to help with your understanding and learning.
